Before listing out the best 5 Wii games, let me start by confessing my weakness for the Nintendo games. The love for Nintendo games started the first time I held my first console. And the excitement has not abated till date. To list out the best 5 Wii games of 2012 is no easy task. How can you list one game over the other? So, this is a list of top Nintendo games in no particular order (I don’t want to commit the crime of listing out one game over the other!) My love for these games sees no bias. Video games bring loads of fun, adventure and complete excitement like no other.
In the years gone by, video gaming has conquered the world with its brilliantly designed games, advanced consoles, bringing each gamer the perfect mix of fantasy and reality. And Nintendo Wii being the perfect partner for your gaming experience is a 7th generation gaming control system. It is very light giving you complete ease in using it. It has excellent hassle free controls and features that add to the gaming fun.
Here’s a list of the best 5 Wii games of 2012.
1.The Last Story
Released in the mid-week of August 2012, The Last Story has managed to garner rave reviews from game enthusiasts and critics as well. And why not, this game has a compelling story line, third person combat with an overdose of action, stealth and strategy. It may win the competition for one of the best looking Wii games ever as it confidently deals with depicting busy streets and action sequences. The story is all so familiar but it doesn’t stop you from connecting with the characters. The hero is an orphan who unwittingly gets mixed with evil forces while the princess with magical powers tries her hand at helping him.
Although the story is compelling it is still confined within certain territory limits. It is the characterization that rescues the game that at times tends to lack drive and vigor. It has one of the best localization and lively script that is strewn with jokes and lovable personalities. It has a great game play and combat making it a must have for 2012.
2.Xenoblade Chronicles
The Xenoblade Chronicles will seem like listening to the same old story line retold many a times. It has a hero who, for reason yet unknown, saves the world from an evil force that is about to unleash hell. And there is a weapon that has ultimate powers to be won. Yes you have heard this storyline already but yet Xenoblade Chronicles has new, fresh and innovative take on it. You are free to explore its world where you get mean monsters to kill and untold wealth to loot. It has a fantastic game play, beautiful design and engaging combat that make it the modern version of epic warfare. This truly is one of the best JRPG ever.
3.Rhythm Heaven Fever
Rhythm Heaven Fever is similar to its predecessor, Rhythm Heaven for the DS. The presentation is trendy, quirky and addictive. There are some great tunes in this game that will leave you humming for the next few days. Rhythm Heaven has 50 games that will keep you engaged for a long time. The graphics are not very exciting though they appear to be fun and colorful. Although you will easily move through all the stages it will be a challenge to collect medals. There are few flaws that can be easily rectified in the upcoming editions. Even with these flaws the game offers some interesting time.
4.Project Zero 2
Being one of the most chilling survival horror games to hit the scene, Project Zero will take you on a journey that is fresh, unique and most importantly scary. If you are a horror fan then Project Zero should make it to your list. This story is about the journey of twin sisters who find their way into a ghost town where the souls of dead people roam around freely. This truly is not for the faint hearted as there will be ghosts lurking behind you at every twist and turn of the game. And the unsettling and eerie sounds in the game can send chills down your spine. But is that not what we are looking for in a horror game?
5. Pandora’s Tower
Pandora’s Tower brings to the fore very popular game play scenes and an environmental layout that at times is not as fresh and new as expected. But yet Pandora’s Tower manages to churn out a story that is clever and interesting. Sometimes the design and depiction looks confused. Yet there are sparks of brilliance with its demanding and gripping narrative. With very interesting cult figures and ideas it has all the ingredients to become a force to reckon with in the near future.
